Pastor Randy Dean's Bio...
Randy Dean grew up in the racially charged urban
mix of the inner city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
during the turbulent days of the the 1960's.
While this external pressure was bad enough, his
family was caught in the confusion of their own
poverty and drug and alcohol abuse. But these
otherwise destructive factors became the
pressure points of God's formation of a man with
a passionate ministry, especially for the
raising up of "sons and daughters" of all ages.
The healing power of Christ and His Kingdom
began its work in Pastor Randy at the age of 16,
which set the stage for his love of youth to
this day, nearly 40 years later. He is known far
and wide for this quote, "Youth are NOT the
church of tomorrow. They are the church of TODAY
and if they are not seen as such, the church
will not have a 'tomorrow'." This principle is
based on the words and actions of Jesus when He
took children into His arms and told the
witnesses around Him, "This IS the Kingdom of
God. Indeed, the Kingdom BELONGS to them. And
unless you enter the Kingdom as a child, you
will have no place in it." (See Matthew 19:14;
Mark 10:13-16; Luke 18:15-17).
So, even
though he is a senior pastor, this passion and
love for youth
keeps Pastor Randy busy with youth camps and
conferences. He is also one of the founding
pastors and vice-president of a regional youth
ministry called Youth Alive.
Pastor Randy has ordained and serves as an
overseer of several ministers. Some of whom work
with him at his church with the hope that
someday, many will go out as children of this
spiritual father. One of the ministries
he oversees and visits regularly is in the
region of Valles, Mexico. A family from Pastor
Randy's church lives there and over the past 2
decades have started 2 main churches in that
city with over 20 other churches in mountain
villages scattered throughout that region. Randy
has also ministered in Moscow, St. Petersburg,
Tallin Estonia, Helsinki Finland, and the
Ukraine.
In addition to his pastoral ministry of 38 years
and the church he has pastored for the past 22
years in Forest, Wisconsin, Pastor Randy has
also been elected to an area board
of education where he has served for 5 terms (15
years). He was recently elected president of
that school board. He also serves with
regional pastors in connection with his
ordination through Global Legacy, relating to
Bethel Church in Redding, CA and Pastor Bill
Johnson.
Pastor Randy has a Bachelor's Degree in
Christian Ministry and a pending Masters Degree
in Management. He and his wife, Ginger have been
married for 36 years and have two children,
Libby who is married to Pastor Darren Hose, and
Jonathan, married to Abby. Three
grandchildren, Eden & Ayla, daughters of Pastor
Darren & Libby; and Asher, son of Jonathan &
Abby. Pastor Darren serves along Pastor
Randy's side as the Youth and Missions Pastor
and Libby is the Worship Director. Jonathan &
Abby are employment with home care services for
adults with disabilities in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
